Eastenders Storyline bought to an end

The EastEnders cot death storyline is to be brought to an early end after more than 8,400 complaints to the BBC.
The story of Ronnie Branning swapping her dead child for another baby drew criticism from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (Sids) awareness campaigners.
The story - the most complained about in the show's 25-year history - will end in the spring after baby Tommy is reunited with his mother, Kat Slater.
The BBC said it made the decision after listening to complaints.
Writing on the BBC's EastEnders blog, executive producer Bryan Kirkwood said: "Whenever we embark on a story at EastEnders we always leave it open-ended to monitor and listen to audience reaction.
"With this in mind we are going to bring the story to a close on screen in the spring."
The show would explore the impact of events "in a way that is powerful, but true to the best public service tradition of the show", he said.
In new year episodes, Ronnie, played by actress Samantha Womack, was shown finding her baby, James, dead in his cot.
She was later shown in the living quarters above the soap's Queen Victoria pub where she swapped James with baby Tommy, the newborn son of characters Kat and Alfie Moon.
The storyline that previously held the record for the show's most complaints - more than 7,000 - was the April 2009 death of Ronnie's daughter Danielle in a car accident.
'Crass twist'
Parenting website Mumsnet was flooded with complaints over the current storyline, prompting it to write a letter to the BBC suggesting that "as is all too common, a bereaved mother has been portrayed as deranged and unhinged".

Taking Kat's baby is the action of a character in great distress due to a series of events that have befallen her in the last 18 months”
BBC Vision director Jana Bennett
In the letter, she acknowledged it was "without doubt a very challenging and emotional story and one that has had a deep impact on many of those who have been watching it".
She added: "Taking Kat's baby is the action of a character in great distress due to a series of events that have befallen her in the last 18 months.
"It is the culmination of these that has driven her to this one moment of madness rather than as a direct result of the loss of her baby."
She also invited Mumsnet staff to meet the programme's makers to discuss the storyline further.
On Thursday, actress Womack - who is leaving the soap - denied she had quit over the storyline, saying her exit had been agreed with producers for several months.
TV presenter and Sids awareness campaigner Anne Diamond, whose baby son died in 1991, told the BBC News website the baby swap storyline was a "crass twist to an otherwise credible storyline" that had not done "one iota of good in educating a young audience about cot death".

Eastenders Wedding goes off with a bang

It's the day before Tanya and Greg's wedding and the pair are preparing for their stag and hen celebrations. Amid some last-minute wedding stress, Tanya soon has something else to worry about when she discovers that Cora has invited Rainie. Tanya isn't impressed by the news but Rainie insists that she's clean and Cora stresses the importance of having the whole family together on Tanya's special day. Later, Ian arrives for Greg's stag night and suggests that they go to a lap-dancing bar, but they end up going to The Vic instead and meet Greg's other friends there. Max also turns up at the pub following encouragement from Vanessa and the girls, but he refuses to get into the spirit of the occasion and tells Jack that he doesn't understand what Tanya sees in Greg.

Tanya's hen night is at the R&R, where Ronnie has agreed to help out in a bid to stop Jack worrying about her. Later, Kim, Kat and Mo all decide to gate-crash the hen night. While at the club, Kat confronts Ronnie and asks why she's always so unhappy when she has such a lovely baby. Kat adds that Ronnie doesn't know how lucky she is and confesses that when Tommy first died, she wished it had been James who passed away instead. Unsettled and upset, Ronnie clocks off early and finds Michael in the Square. Once again, he asks why she always behaves so strangely around him, before accusing her of playing hard to get. Michael then kisses Ronnie before walking away, leaving her shaken.

Back at the club, Tanya has drunk too much and accuses Jane of lusting over Greg. After Tanya declares that Jane should get her own man, Jane storms out and tells her friend to get a new matron of honour. When Jane gets home, Greg is there as he's just dropped Ian off. Jane tells Greg that Tanya doesn't know how lucky she is, before taking things a step further by trying to kiss him. A shocked Greg pushes her away as Jane tearfully apologises for her mistake.

Meanwhile, when Max arrives home he is shocked to find Abi and Jay in bed together. Both have decided to just cuddle together as they're too nervous to sleep together, but Max assumes the worst, drags Jay out of the bed and pins him against the wall. After Jay makes an escape from Max's clutches, a furious Abi grabs her bridesmaid dress and storms out, deciding to stay with her mum. As Max runs after her, he grabs and accidentally rips the sleeve of the dress. This provokes an angry response from Abi, who screams at Max on the street. Later, Lauren tells Max that she knows he can't stand to see Tanya happy. She asks him to promise not to ruin the day tomorrow, but Max says that he can't do that…
